HOW I GOT THERE

THE CONTEXT

More than a new website.

The challenge was to turn a traditional commercial operation into a connected digital product. Customers needed a clear way to explore offers; the business needed reliable ways to manage a changing catalogue and respond to demand.

THE TRANSFORMATION

Build the product. Connect the operation.

I designed and built the customer experience together with the backend, admin workflows, catalogue automation and acquisition infrastructure. Each layer supports the next, from discovering a vehicle to maintaining the offer behind it.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product design, frontend and backend implementation, internal operations, catalogue automation, SEO, Google Ads and Meta campaign management, conversion tracking and analytics.

ACQUISITION, TRACKING & ANALYTICS

Build the product. Connect the acquisition.

I manage Google Ads and Meta campaigns alongside the platform. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Search Console connect search visibility and customer interactions with consent-aware conversion tracking. Measurement covers enquiry submissions, offer discovery and contact actions, with attribution and deduplication supporting a coherent picture of acquisition.

THE ENGINEERING STORY

A catalogue that keeps changing.

Observing a source and changing the live catalogue are different responsibilities. The workflow separates observation, comparison and reconciliation from review and application, making change visible before it becomes customer-facing.

WHAT CHANGED

One connected operation

Customer discovery, offer management and acquisition measurement become parts of the same system.

Before

The challenge was to turn a traditional commercial operation into a connected digital product. Customers needed a clear way to explore offers; the business needed reliable ways to manage a changing catalogue and respond to demand.

After

Customer discovery, offer management and acquisition measurement become parts of the same system.

A comparison of the working model before and after the implementation.

TECHNOLOGY, WITH A PURPOSE

Next.js and TypeScript connect the public application and server workflows. MongoDB holds catalogue and operational records; Cloudinary supports managed product media.

THE TAKEAWAY

The value is in the connection: a polished customer experience supported by systems that make it practical to operate and improve.
